The 2010-2011 Entrance Ceremony for the SPACE program (Saga University Program for Academic Exchange) was held on October 4th at the University Hall.
SPACE is a one-year exchange program designed for international students from any overseas universities that have an inner-university agreement with Saga University. SPACE accepts about 20 students every year in October and this year 20 students from countries, such as Korea, China, and Indonesia joined the program.
At the ceremony, words of warm welcome were offered by President Takao Hotokebuchi and the Director of the International Student Center, Teruyoshi Yanagita. After that, each student introduced themselves with their hopes and goals, trying to use Japanese.
